How to see previous session summaries?

View summaries and insights from your previous AI Companion sessions. Each closed session includes a title and summary that captures key takeaways from your conversation.

Viewing Recent Session Summaries

1. From the Companion home screen, scroll down to the “Recent Sessions” section
2. You’ll see a horizontal list of your recent closed sessions
3. Each session card displays:
   • Session Title: A brief title summarizing the conversation topic
   • Date and Time: When the session was created
   • Summary: A preview of the session summary (up to 4 lines)
4. Tap on any session card to view the full conversation history

Viewing All Session Summaries

1. From the Companion home screen, in the “Recent Sessions” section, tap the forward arrow icon (→) on the right next to “Recent Sessions”
2. You’ll be taken to the “Session” view showing all your closed sessions
3. Sessions are displayed in a vertical list, ordered by most recent first
4. Each session tile shows:
   • Session Title: A brief title summarizing the conversation topic
   • Date and Time: When the session was created
   • Full Summary: The complete session summary text
5. Tap on any session tile to view the full conversation history

Understanding Session Summaries

• Session Title: A concise title that captures the main theme or topic of your conversation
• Session Summary: A detailed summary that includes:
  • Key topics discussed
  • Insights and takeaways
  • Important points from the conversation
• Processing Status: If a session summary is still being generated, you’ll see “We’re brewing your session…” instead of the summary

Tip

Session summaries are generated automatically when you end a session. If you see “We’re brewing your session…”, the summary is still being processed and will appear shortly.

Viewing Full Conversation History

1. From either the “Recent Sessions” section or the “Session” view, tap on any session
2. You’ll see the complete conversation history with:
   • All messages exchanged between you and AI Companion
   • Date headers showing when messages were sent
   • Timestamps for each message
3. Scroll through the conversation to review the full dialogue
4. Tap the back arrow to return to the session list

Note

Closed sessions are read-only. You can view the conversation history, but you cannot send new messages in a closed session. The session summary is displayed on the session card or tile, not in the conversation view. To continue chatting, start a new session.
