How to Enable/disable announcement notifications

1. Open the Student App and log in
2. Navigate to your Profile section
3. Go to “Notification Settings”
4. You’ll see notification options for announcements:
   • Announcement Email - Toggle to enable/disable email notifications for announcements
   • Announcement Mobile - Toggle to enable/disable push notifications for announcements
5. Toggle the switches to enable or disable each notification type:
   • Enabled (ON) - You will receive notifications for new announcements
   • Disabled (OFF) - You will not receive notifications
6. Your preferences are saved automatically when you change the toggle
7. When enabled, you will receive:
   • Email notifications - You’ll receive emails for new published announcements targeted to you
   • Push notifications - You’ll receive push notifications on your mobile device for new published announcements targeted to you

Tip

You can enable both email and push notifications, or choose just one type. Disabling notifications doesn’t prevent you from viewing announcements in the app - it only stops automatic notifications.

Note

Notification settings are saved to your account and apply to all announcements. You cannot set different notification preferences for different announcement categories.
