How to Archive a Group

Archiving a group hides it from your main chat groups list while keeping all messages and group data. You can unarchive it later to bring it back to your main list.

1. Open the Student App and log in
2. Navigate to the Groups section from the bottom navigation bar
3. Find the group you want to archive in your groups list
4. Long press on the group
5. A bottom sheet will appear with group management options
6. Tap “Archive Group” from the menu options
7. The group will be moved to your archived groups section
8. It will no longer appear in your main active groups list

Note

Archiving a group doesn’t remove you from the group. You’re still a member, and you can still receive notifications if notifications aren’t muted. The group is just hidden from your main view for organization purposes.

Tip

To view archived groups, look for the “Archived” filter in your groups list. You can unarchive a group from there by following the same steps and selecting “Unarchive Group”.
