How to Join a School Group

School groups are public chat groups created by school staff. Any student from your school can join these groups to participate in discussions and connect with other students.


  1. Open the Student App and log in
  2. Navigate to the Groups section from the bottom navigation bar
  3. Tap the + button (add icon) at the top right corner
  4. Select “Join School Group” from the action sheet
  5. You’ll see a list of all active public groups available for your school
  6. Each group card shows:
    • Group name
    • Group description
    • Group logo
  7. Browse through the available groups
  8. Tap on a group you want to join
  9. Review the group details and description
  10. Tap the “Join” button to join the group
  11. A bottom sheet will appear showing community guidelines for the group
  12. Review the guidelines and tap “Accept and Join” to confirm
  1. You’ll be automatically added as a member of the group
  2. The group will appear in your chat groups list
