How to Report a Group

If you encounter a chat group with inappropriate content or behavior, you can report it to school staff for review. Reports are reviewed by school administrators who can take appropriate action.

1. Open the Student App and log in
2. Navigate to the Groups section
3. Tap on the group you want to report
4. Tap the info icon in the top right corner to open group details
5. Tap the three dots menu icon in the top right corner
6. Tap “Report Group” from the menu
7. A report dialog will appear
8. Select a reason for reporting from the available options:
   • Spam or advertising
   • Harassment or bullying
   • Inappropriate content
   • Hate speech
   • Other (with description field)
9. If you selected “Other”, enter a description of the issue
10. Optionally, you can attach screenshots or evidence by tapping the attachment option
11. Review your report details
12. Tap “Submit” to send the report
13. Your report will be sent to school staff for review
14. You’ll receive confirmation that your report was submitted

Reports are reviewed by school administrators in the web portal. They will investigate the reported group and take appropriate action, which may include disabling members, deactivating the group, or contacting involved students.

Tip

Provide as much detail as possible when reporting, including specific examples of inappropriate content or behavior. This helps school staff investigate and address the issue effectively.

Caution

False or malicious reports may result in consequences. Only report groups that genuinely violate school policies or contain inappropriate content.
