How to Chat with Incident Investigator

Communicate directly with the staff member assigned to investigate your incident through the comments feature.

1. From the bottom navigation bar, tap on “Incident”
2. Tap on the incident you want to discuss
3. In the incident detail view, tap on the “Comments” tab
4. View previous comments from staff members and yourself
5. Scroll down to the comment input field at the bottom
6. Type your message in the text field
7. Tap the send icon to post your comment
8. Your comment will appear in the comments thread
9. Staff members will receive notifications when you add comments
10. You can continue the conversation by adding more comments

Note

Migrated Reports: This feature is disabled for migrated incidents. If your incident was migrated from another account, you will see a message indicating that commenting is disabled for migrated incidents. You can view existing comments but cannot add new ones.

Tip

Use comments to ask questions, provide additional information, or respond to staff members’ questions about your incident. All comments are visible to staff members assigned to your incident.
