How to Start Data Migration

Start the data migration process when you want to import your data from a previous jiver jinx account with a different email address.

1. During account setup, after you have confirmed your school and completed adding your account details, you’ll be presented with the “Import Data” screen
2. You’ll see two options:
   • “I want to import my data” - Choose this to start the migration process
   • “I don’t want to import my data” - Choose this to skip migration
3. If you choose to import data, tap the “Import Data Now” button
4. You’ll be taken to the data selection screen where you can choose what to migrate

Caution

Important: If you opt not to import the data during account setup, there will be no way to do so after creating the account. Make sure to complete the migration process if you want to transfer your previous account data.

Tip

The migration process allows you to transfer data from a previous account with a different email address. All migrated data will be hidden from your current school and only visible to you.
