Migrated Data Overview

When data is migrated from your previous account, it retains all its original information but has some special characteristics and restrictions:

Data Types That Can Be Migrated

• Mood & Activities: All your mood entries and activity data from the previous account
• Incidents: All incident reports you created in the previous account
• AI Companion: Your conversation history with the AI Companion

Privacy and Visibility

• Hidden from Current School: All migrated data is hidden from your current school and is only visible to you
• Original School Access: The data remains accessible to the original school where it was created

Migrated Incidents - Special Characteristics

Migrated incidents have specific restrictions and display differences:

Status Display

• Regular Incidents: Show a status stepper with visual progress indicators
• Migrated Incidents: Show a status banner displaying “Incident Status : [Status Name]” instead of a stepper

Read-Only Restrictions

For migrated incidents, you cannot:

• Add new comments
• Upload new evidence
• Edit any information
• Change the incident status
• Interact with the incident in any way that modifies it

View-Only Features

For migrated incidents, you can:

• View all incident details
• View existing comments
• View existing evidence that was added by you in the previous account
• See the incident status
• View all people involved
• View location and other details

Migrated Mood & Activities

• All mood entries are migrated with their original timestamps
• Activity data is preserved as it was in the previous account
• No restrictions apply - you can continue using mood tracking normally

Migrated AI Companion Data

• Your conversation history is migrated
• Session summaries are preserved
• You can continue chatting with the AI Companion normally
• Previous conversation context is available

Caution

Important Restrictions:

• Migrated incidents are read-only. You cannot modify them in any way after migration.
• If you need to add information to a migrated incident, you’ll need to create a new incident in your current account.
• The migration is a one-time process - you cannot re-migrate or update migrated data.

Tip

Best Practices:

• Review your migrated incidents to understand what was transferred
• All your data, whether regular or migrated, is accessible from the same screens in the app
• The app clearly indicates when features are disabled for migrated incidents
