How to Verify Your Previous Account

Verify that you are the owner of the previous account by entering the email address associated with that account.

1. After selecting the data types to migrate, tap “Continue”
2. You’ll see the “Confirm Your email” screen
3. Enter the “Email” address associated with your previous jiver jinx account
4. Tap “Continue” to proceed
5. The system will search for an account with that email address
6. If an account is found, you’ll see the “User Details” screen showing:
   • User Name: The first and last name associated with the previous account
   • Associated School: The school name and logo (always shown), and website, phone, and address (shown if available)
7. Review the information to confirm this is the correct account
8. If the information is correct, tap “Continue” to proceed with the migration request

Caution

Important: You cannot migrate your own account. If you enter the email address of your current account, the system will prevent self-migration.

Tip

The verification step ensures that you are the legitimate owner of the previous account. Make sure to enter the exact email address you used for your previous account.
