How to find my mood triggers?

Your Top Mood Triggers are activities that appear most often when you log certain moods. The Student App shows them on the Home screen in the Top Mood Triggers card.

  1. Open the Student App and go to Home (bottom navigation).
  2. Scroll to the row of mood analytics cards (Total Moods, Total Activities, Top Mood Triggers).
  3. The Top Mood Triggers card is the one with the trend/chart icon and the two rows of activity icons (up arrow for positive, down arrow for negative).

The card has two rows:

  • Up arrow (↑)
Activities most often linked with positive moods (Normal, Great) in your logged entries for the selected period. Up to three activities are shown as icons.

  • Down arrow (↓)
Activities most often linked with negative moods (Stressed, Sad, Scared, Angry) in your logged entries for the selected period. Up to three activities are shown as icons.

The icons come from the activity list used when you log mood and activities. If you have not logged enough moods with activities, one or both rows may be empty.

The triggers are computed from your mood logs in the period chosen in the clock dropdown above the Mood Stats and Activity charts (Today, 7 days, 15 days, 1 Month, 2 Month, All). Changing that period refetches your analytics and can change which activities appear as triggers.
