What are mood streaks?

A mood streak is the number of consecutive days on which you logged at least one mood, for a run that ends on today. The count includes only today and yesterday: it is 1 if you logged only today, and 2 if you logged both today and yesterday. If you have not logged today, the streak is 0.

On Home, the “How are you feeling now?” card shows:

  • Your latest mood and when you logged it (or “No mood recorded” if you have not logged yet).
  • A flame icon and a number with “days” (e.g. “2 days”). That number is your current mood streak. This row is always shown.
  • A row of 7 circles. Each circle is one of the last 7 days: filled if you logged a mood that day, unfilled if not. This row is always shown.

  • The app looks at the distinct calendar days on which you have at least one mood log.
  • The streak is based on a run of consecutive days that ends on today — so you must have logged today for a non‑zero streak.
  • It counts only today and yesterday in that run: 1 if you logged only today, 2 if you logged both today and yesterday. Earlier consecutive days are not counted.
  • If you have not logged today, the streak is 0 (a run ending on yesterday does not count).
  • If you have never logged, or there is a gap before today, the streak is 0.

Example: You logged on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu. Today is Fri and you have not logged yet. Your streak is 0. If you log on Fri, it becomes 1 (only Fri). If you had also logged Thu (yesterday), it would be 2 (Fri and Thu).

  • Logging at least one mood on a day
That day counts as “done” for the streak. Logging more than once on the same day does not increase the streak.
  • Skipping a day
If you do not log today, the streak is 0. When you log again on a later day, it becomes 1 (or 2 if you also logged the day before). It does not go negative.
  • Data and time range
The streak is computed from your stored mood history. It is not limited by the Today / 7 days / 1 Month / All dropdown; that dropdown only affects the Mood Stats, Activity chart, and Top Mood Triggers on Home.
