How to reset forgotten password?

  1. Open the jiver jinx Student App
  2. On the login screen, tap the “Forgot Password ?” link (located below the password field)
  3. You will be redirected to the “Forgot Password” page
  4. The page displays “Reset Password” as the heading
  5. Enter your “Email” (required) - Enter the email address associated with your student account
  6. Review the information text: “We will send you an email with a link to reset your password, please enter the email associated with your account above. This link is accessible exclusively through the mobile app.”
  7. Tap the “Send Reset Link” button
  8. A message will appear: “If your account exists, you will receive an email with instructions to reset your password.”
  9. Check your email inbox for the password reset email
  10. Click the password reset link in the email
  11. The link will open in the Student App (if installed) or redirect you to the app
  12. You will be redirected to the Change Password page with the reset code pre-filled
  13. Enter your “New Password” (required) - Create a new password that meets the following requirements:
    • Minimum 8 characters
    • Must contain at least one letter
    • Must contain at least one number
    • Must contain at least one symbol
  14. Review the password validation feedback indicators to ensure all requirements are met:
    • 8 Characters - Password must be at least 8 characters long
    • 1 Letter - Password must contain at least one letter
    • 1 Number - Password must contain at least one number
    • 1 Symbol - Password must contain at least one symbol
  15. Tap the “Change Password” button (the button will be enabled only when all password requirements are met)
  16. Your password will be reset and you will be automatically logged in
  17. You will see a success message: “Password updated successfully!”
  18. You will be redirected to the home screen
