How to Accept Invitation to Join a School?

1. Open the jiver jinx Student App and log in. If your school is not yet confirmed, you are taken to the New School Invite screen after login. You can also open an invitation link from your email; the link opens the app and takes you to the New School Invite screen
2. On the New School Invite screen, enter your Invite Code in the Invite Code field
3. Tap the “Verify” button at the bottom
4. If the code is valid, the app shows the school name and details (or Current School and New School if you are changing schools). The button at the bottom changes to “This is my school”
5. Tap “This is my school” to accept and join the school. Your student record is updated with the new school, grade, and class from the invitation
6. You are taken to the Import Data screen. Choose “Import Data Now” to migrate data from a previous jiver jinx account, or “Understood, Skip It” to continue without importing. After you complete or skip import, you reach the home screen

Note

The invite code must have been sent to the same email address you use to log in. If the code is invalid, already used, or revoked, you will see an error. Ask your school to send a new invitation if needed.

Tip

If you do not have an invite code and do not have a school yet, tap “I don’t have an invite code” at the bottom to add your school details manually.
