How to Activate a Group
Activating a group makes it visible and joinable by students in the Student App. Only active groups appear in the list of available groups that students can join.
- Log in to the School Web Portal and navigate to the Groups section
- Click on the “Chat Groups” tab
- Find the group you want to activate in the list
- Click the three dots icon (more options menu) on the group row
- Select “Edit” from the popup menu
- In the edit dialog, locate the “Is it active?” toggle switch
- Turn the toggle ON to activate the group
- Click “Save” to apply the changes
- The group status will change to active, and students will be able to see and join the group in the Student App
