How to Assign an Incident

Assign incidents to specific staff members (teachers) to ensure proper handling and accountability.


  1. Navigate to the Incident Board and click on the incident you want to assign
  2. In the incident detail view, locate the “Assigned to” section in the right column
  3. Click on the “Assigned to” mention box
  4. A dialog will open showing a searchable list of available staff members
  5. Use the search field to find the specific teacher or staff member by name
  6. Click on the staff member you want to assign the incident to
  7. The assignment is saved automatically
  8. The assigned staff member will be automatically subscribed to incident notifications
  9. Email notifications are sent to the assigned staff member when they are assigned
