How to Generate Incident Summary

Generate AI-powered summaries of incidents to quickly understand key details, activities, and context without reading through all comments and activities.

1. Navigate to the Incident Board and click on the incident you want to summarize
2. In the incident detail view, locate the “AI Summary” section in the center column
3. The summary section is expandable - click to expand it if it’s collapsed
4. If no summary exists yet, click the “Generate Summary” button
5. The system will analyze the incident data, comments, activities, and context
6. Wait for the summary generation to complete (this may take a few moments)
7. Once generated, the summary will display a comprehensive overview of the incident
8. To refresh or regenerate the summary, click the refresh icon or “Generate Summary” button again

Caution

Rate Limiting: Summary generation is rate-limited to prevent excessive usage. The rate limit is: 1 summary generation per incident per hour (60 minutes).
