How to Send Data Request to Student

  1. Log in to the School Web Portal and click on “Students” in the main navigation menu
  2. Navigate to the “Students” tab and click on a student row to open their details page
  3. Locate and click the “Request Access” button (visible when you don’t have active data access)
  4. In the “Request Companion and Mood Data Access” dialog:
    • “Select end date of access” (required) - Choose a date between tomorrow and up to 30 days from today using the date picker
    • “Reason of access” (required) - Enter a reason for requesting access (maximum 200 characters)
  5. Click “Request Access” button to send the request
  6. The student will receive an email notification and in-app notification about your request
  7. The request status will be displayed on the student details page:
    • “Requested” - Student has not yet responded
    • “Approved” - Student approved your request (you can now view companion chat and mood data)
    • “Rejected” - Student rejected your request
    • “Expired” - Access has expired after the specified end date
  8. Once approved, you will have access to:
    • Student companion chat records
    • Student mood data and analytics
    • Mood graph visualization
  9. Access automatically expires at the end date you specified
